Floor Tech Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Tech to join our team. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces within our facility. You will use your knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment to ensure that our floors are safe, attractive, and well-maintained.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Floor Tech or similar role.
• Knowledge of different floor types and the appropriate cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Familiarity with various floor care equipment, including buffers, polishers, and vacuums.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain various floor surfaces, including carpets, tiles, hardwood, and laminate.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors on a regular basis.
• Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors using appropriate products and equipment.
• Removing stains, spills, and debris from floors.
• Inspecting and reporting any damages or repairs needed for floors.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitary guidelines.
• Keeping inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assisting with other cleaning tasks as needed.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment.
• Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and address cleaning needs.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report any issues.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
