Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available to provide Speech-Language Pathology services via teletherapy for school-aged students in the New Orleans area. This contract position offers a chance to support communication development remotely within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluation, intervention, and support through teletherapy platforms.
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication disorders for a caseload to be determined.
- Collaborate virtually with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.
- Complete required district HR credentialing forms to meet onboarding standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state licensure valid in Louisiana.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) mandatory.
- Previous experience with telespeech/teletherapy preferred.
- Strong ability to engage and assess students remotely.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Location and Schedule:
- Based in the New Orleans metro area, services provided via teletherapy.
- Full-time schedule: 35 hours per week, 7 hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
- Contract duration: August 7, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
- Specific schools and caseload details will be determined.
Additional Information:
- Contract renewal by the school board is pending as of June 3, 2026; employment contingent upon approval.
- Submission of district forms for HR processing is required.
