Service Electrician

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities. This position offers a variety of projects, including renovations, retrofits, and new construction, with opportunities for long-term growth.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, lighting, wiring, and controls.
• Bend and install conduit, pipe, cable, and wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Inspect electrical equipment and ensure safe, code-compliant operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Work independently and with project teams to complete jobs efficiently.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Strong conduit bending and electrical installation skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Ability to work on lifts and in various job site environments.

• Electrical apprenticeship or vocational training.
• Experience with low-voltage systems, rigid conduit, and commercial construction.
• Field service experience in schools, warehouses, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, or similar environments.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, starting between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM (8-9 hour shifts)

Location: Commercial and industrial job sites throughout the region.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Britain, PA.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
