Surgical Scrub Tech- Dillon MT
Location : Dillon MT 59725
Project Duration : 13 weeks
Pay range : $48-$51/hr, based on experience W2 with limited benefits
Shift : Days

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Scrub Tech to support surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are available throughout surgical procedures. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of surgical procedures and can anticipate the needs of the surgeon while maintaining a safe and sterile environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
• Maintain and protect the sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons by anticipating instrument and supply needs during operations.
• Ensure operating rooms are properly cleaned, stocked, and prepared for procedures.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and sterile processing protocols.
• Document required information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR), as applicable.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program recognized by CAAHEP or ABHES, or current certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 3-5 years of recent Surgical Scrub Tech experience required.
• Proficiency in medical terminology; experience with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
