This position will provide mental health counseling and other mental health programming, as well as provide instruction and clinical supervision for student interns from social work, counseling, psychology and other related disciplines from Minnesota State University, Mankato and other colleges and universities as applicable.This position has been designated as weather and emergency essential. In the event of a short-term University closure or emergency event, incumbent is required to report to work and respond as requested.Minimum QualificationsMaster's Degree in counseling (or related field)Current LPCC or LMFT in MinnesotaBBHT and/or MFT board-approved clinical supervisor status or eligible to supervise graduate student internsTwo years of providing mental health therapy post-licensureDemonstrated commitment to positive and collaborative workplace environmentDemonstrated commitment to culturally relevant and inclusive practicesPreferred QualificationDemonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environmentAdditional licensure or eligible LADCKnowledge of and experience utilizing the DC:0–5™ Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early ChildhoodRegistered Play Therapist (RPT) credential or actively pursuing credentialing with eligibility to obtain registrationExperience providing mental health assessment and evidence-based therapy services to children and adolescentsFive years of providing mental health therapyExperience supervising graduate student internsExperience in program developmentOther RequirementsPlease note that successful applicants must be eligible to work in the United States on or before the effective date of appointment.
