Safety Supervisor

We currently seek a Safety Supervisor for our client on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate will support field safety across construction and heavy equipment operations. This role focuses on conducting inspections, enforcing compliance, supporting incident investigations, and implementing safety programs across crane, rigging, and structural steel projects. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of construction safety experience, strong knowledge of OSHA standards, and hands-on experience in crane or rigging environments. This is a field-facing leadership position with growth potential, offering strong benefits, a company vehicle, and the opportunity to support large-scale renewable and construction projects. This is a direct hire opportunity based in Fontana, CA.

Job Requirements:

• Conduct and document continuous inspections, ensure follow-up on deficiencies, and stop non-compliant conditions or behaviors

• Perform monthly inspections of safety equipment

• Assist in incident investigations and basic field-level incident management

• Represent the company at client-sponsored safety meetings and forums

• Implement client/company-driven safety initiatives at the field level

• Serve as the initial point of contact for company and client field personnel

• Administer and present craft safety training

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Occupational Safety & Health Safety Management, or a related field

• 5+ years in construction/maintenance safety, with extensive experience in crane operations, structural steel erection, and rigging

• OSHA 500, 501, 510, 511, BCSP STS-C

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet functions

• Excellent customer relationship skills

• Previous safety supervisory responsibilities within commercial construction, steel erections, crane, and rigging operations (preferred)

• CHST or equivalent (preferred)
