This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach, VA campus. Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA Qualifications Ordained minister with at least five years of pastoral experience in the local church. Teaching experience in higher education at the undergraduate level for four‑year colleges or universities; master's and doctoral level teaching experience is a plus. A track record of scholarly research in Christian Ministry or Practical Theology. Applied or academic doctoral degree in Christian Ministry or Practical Theology (e.g., D.Min., Ph.D., etc.). Expectations A dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning. Evidence of faithful and fruitful ministry focused on the proclamation of Christ (Colossians 1:28) and the demonstration of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:4). A record of or potential for academic scholarship. The ability to teach graduate-level courses. Familiarity with online instructional technology. A willingness to embrace the School of Divinity and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to Regent University’s statement of faith.
