Role Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondfollowing established protocols.
• Examine test results for accuracy, tackle troubleshooting challenges, and perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment as necessary.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and help uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree from a related field, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science certification (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain up-to-date certification throughout the duration of employment.
