Contract | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department at a Level 3 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and Stroke Certified facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 during mid shift alongside 2 PCTs
• Operate unit equipment including GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a trauma-designated or high-acuity emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR platforms
• Experience with rapid infuser and blood warmer equipment
