Audit Manager – Audit & Assurance Position Details: Location: Alexandria, VA Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation:85,000 – 130,000, DOE Work Schedule:Hybrid work schedule after introductory period Minimum three days per week in the Alexandria office Thompson, Hughes & Trollinger, PLLC is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead Audit & Assurance engagements while working directly with firm leadership in a collaborative CPA firm. What We're Looking For Active CPA license Eight or more years of public accounting experience with significant audit experience Proven experience leading audit engagement teams Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodology Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills Strong organizational and project management abilities Commitment to exceptional client service and continuous improvement What You'll Do Lead audit, review, and agreed-upon procedures engagements from planning through completion Manage engagement budgets, schedules, staffing, and client expectations Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout engagements Review workpapers and financial statements for quality and compliance Mentor, coach, and develop staff accountants and senior accountants Research accounting and auditing issues while providing technical guidance Partner with firm leadership to strengthen client relationships and service Why Join Our Team Join a collaborative CPA firm where experienced audit professionals have direct access to firm leadership, meaningful client relationships, and opportunities to influence the future of our Audit & Assurance practice.
