About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 24 months PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor Active BLS certification from an approved vendor Must-Have: No hits on state license to practice Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI Travel experience is highly preferred Description: The unit provides mixed surgical progressive care and medical surgical services. Candidates may also float to other units on the campus. Candidates must have previous travel experience to be considered. Residents of the area are not eligible for specific assignments. Candidates must clearly outline all criteria they are willing to accept. Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments is encouraged for faster placement. Candidates must be ready to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Requests for time off must be included and should not exceed 7 days. No requests for time off are permitted during the first week of the assignment. Candidates should be prepared to work in specified areas and departments. All candidates submitted must be pre-closed and ready to accept the position. Immediate notification is required if a candidate withdraws or is no longer available. Strict adherence to background check standards is mandatory. Candidates must complete a skills checklist within the last 12 months. A driver's license is required for residency verification.
