About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN Certifications: ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: ACLS certification Comfortable performing conscious sedation under the direct supervision of a radiologist Description: Unit Profiles provide exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles include location, number of beds, patient ratios, and other unique details. Position Role is for RN specializing in interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include conscious sedation and monitoring patient vitals during invasive procedures. Two contractor positions are being requested for this role. Weekly guaranteed hours will be 36. Weekend shifts will be on an on-call rotation with five other RNs. Required certifications include RN and ACLS. Preferred experience includes working in an interventional radiology or cath lab setting. A history of working in emergency department or intensive care unit settings is also preferred. Patients requiring invasive radiology procedures will be the focus on this unit. Seeking a confident RN who is comfortable working in a group setting with technologists and other RNs. Dress code requires light blue surgery scrubs, which will be supplied. Additional training will be completed prior to starting in a clinical setting. This is a new position created due to vacancy.
