Principal Data Center Sourcer

Leading the sourcing and procurement of datacenter space globally, the full-time Principal Data Center Sourcer will drive complex negotiations and manage the entire lifecycle of datacenter acquisitions while working remotely. Key responsibilities Develop and execute the global datacenter site selection and acquisition strategy in alignment with business goals Lead the lifecycle of datacenter acquisition, including market research, RFP generation, and negotiating agreements Build and maintain relationships with top-tier global vendors and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to drive performance Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in technical sourcing, real estate acquisition, or infrastructure procurement, with 5 years focused on datacenter and colocation deals Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex, high-value datacenter contracts Strong understanding of credit markets and financial modeling for Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis Deep knowledge of datacenter mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure and emerging power and cooling technologies Ability to communicate complex market dynamics into actionable strategies for executives and technical stakeholders
