Machine Builder – 1st Shift
Waterville, OH
Pay: $20–$24/hour
Local Company is seeking skilled and mechanically inclined Machine Builders to join our team in Waterville, Ohio. This is a 1st shift opportunity with competitive pay and excellent benefits.
⚠️ Please note: This is not a Machine Operator role . We custom-build industrial furnaces from print to production and are looking for individuals who enjoy hands-on, technical work.
Position Summary
As a Machine Builder, you will be responsible for assembling custom industrial furnaces and equipment according to engineering prints and specifications. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and experience across multiple skilled trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom furnaces from detailed blueprints and schematics
- Perform welding, fabrication, piping, and basic electrical work
- Ensure builds meet quality and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete complex builds
- Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during assembly
Qualifications
- Experience in welding, fabrication, electrical work, and/or piping
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read prints/schematics
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders as needed
