Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current or eligible license as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA with experience or strong interest in school-based speech services
• Background in working with self-contained classrooms and students with ASD is preferred
• Familiarity with language-based therapy approaches; assistive device experience not required
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and families
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability in serving diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy primarily for language disorders; caseload is mainly self-contained and ASD students
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
• Deliver therapy in accordance with best practices and student needsno device usage required
• Collaborate closely with special education teams to support tailored educational outcomes
• Maintain clear documentation and participate in relevant parent or staff meetings as needed
