Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping, HVAC) Estimator position in CA

We are currently looking for a Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping, HVAC) Estimator to fill an immediate opening. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in mechanical estimating.

Responsibilities for the Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping, HVAC) Estimator

Build Conceptual, Design-Build and Plan-Spec Estimates for Mid- to Large- Commercial Mechanical Projects
Assist Project Managers with Change-Order Estimates
Work with Suppliers and Vendors for accurate and best pricing for Estimates
Communicate with Senior Management and Collogues on current and upcoming Projects
Identify potential errors and look for value engineering opportunities

Requirements for the Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping, HVAC) Estimator

5+ years of Mechanical Estimating experience
Knowledge of State Building Codes

Preferred:

Prior field experience
Bachelors Degree
Local (willing to consider non-local candidates as well)
Knowledge of Estimating Software: Quickpen (preferred), Quote Soft, Quote Express, Fast Duct, Fast Pipe, Viewpoint, Maxwell, MS Excel, MS Project, BlueBeam
