Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong transplant and complex surgical case experience. Candidates must be able to independently scrub liver recipient transplant procedures and demonstrate expertise in a variety of advanced surgical specialties.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures

• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout surgeries

• Assist surgeons during complex surgical procedures

• Anticipate surgical team needs and provide appropriate instruments and supplies

• Ensure patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols

• Operate and assist with specialized surgical equipment including robotic systems

• Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies

• Participate in emergency and transplant procedures as required

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Surgical Tech experience

• NBSTSA Certification required

• BLS Certification required

• Ability to independently scrub Liver Recipient Transplant procedures (Required)

• Experience with large open belly procedures

• Strong knowledge of sterile processing and aseptic technique

• Liver Resection

• Whipple Procedures

• General Surgery

• Urology

• Thoracic Surgery

• Gynecology

• Plastic Surgery

• Free Flap Procedures

Operating Room Details:

• Average Daily Surgical Volume: 35 Cases

• 22 Operating Rooms

• DaVinci XI Robotic System
