Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: RN License required Certifications: Required certifications for position Must-Have: - Relevant nursing experience in rehabilitation settings - Ability to provide specialized care for patients with severe injuries or illnesses Description: This position involves working in an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. The facility is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of severe injuries or illnesses. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to individual needs. Patients may be recovering from conditions including stroke, brain injury, neurological issues, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. The unit comprises 40 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. Electronic health records are managed using a specified EHR system. Supervision is provided by a designated supervisor. The patient population primarily includes adults. Required education includes holding a valid RN degree.
