Job Description
LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for delivering patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe care delivery. The Registered Nurse will maintain clinical competencies and provide supervision to the patient care staff.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in clinical settings.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS & BLS certifications (must be from the American Heart Association).
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care.
• Knowledge of central lines and preferred wound care experience.
• Active NM or multi-state compact RN license.

Schedule

This position requires working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 07:00 to 19:30.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
