RN Clinical Nurse II - Heart and Vascular Prep & Recovery
Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking to grow your cardiovascular nursing experience in a fast-paced, specialized environment? Join the UNC Rex Heart & Vascular Prep and Recovery (1HV) team and make a meaningful impact on patients throughout their cardiovascular journey.
Located on the first floor of the NC Heart & Vascular Hospital, 1HV is a 48-bed outpatient unit caring for an average of 3545 patients each day. Our team provides specialized care to patients before and after a wide range of cardiovascular surgeries and diagnostic and interventional procedures.
As a Clinical Nurse II, you will play a key role in preparing and caring for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures and surgeries. You will provide safe, compassionate, and timely nursing care while collaborating closely with physicians, procedural teams, and other members of the healthcare team.
Our patients may be undergoing procedures or surgeries including: cardiac catheterization, atrial fibrillation (Afib) ablation, pacemaker procedures, open-heart surgery, carotid endarterectomy, and other diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
You will care for patients across the pre- and post-procedure continuum, helping ensure a seamless transition throughout their care.
