Brave Recovery Counseling Services is seeking motivated and licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) to join our dedicated team in a full-time remote capacity. Work Environment\nThis position is designed to be fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to integrate work-life balance into your schedule. You will be part of a supportive and dynamic team committed to professional development and clinical excellence. Our office operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans targeting their specific challenges. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy tailored to each client's unique context. \n
- Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, focusing on common mental health concerns, to foster a sense of community and support among participants. \n
- Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic care that addresses all aspects of patient well-being. \n
- Deliver crisis intervention services, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies to stabilize clients and ensure their safety. \n
- Educate clients about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay current with advancements in the field. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities. \n
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans. \n
- Previous experience delivering both individual and group therapy to a wide variety of clients. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients. \n
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries while exhibiting empathy and support. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care accurately. \n

- Working knowledge of telehealth platforms and technologies for delivering remote therapy. \n
- Experience in facilitating psychoeducational groups is an asset. \n
