Description:
Provide leadership and operational support to advance patient-centered care while ensuring efficient, effective, and cost-conscious operations.
Communicate effectively, respectfully, and culturally appropriately with staff, patients, the public, and external agencies.
Collaborate with the Director of Optometry and clinical operations leadership to optimize access, operational efficiency, quality, and financial stewardship.
Optimize eye care services across all HCHC sites and lead the implementation and advancement of technology-enabled and remote care services.
Participate in long-range planning and contribute to the development and execution of organizational goals, strategic plans, and operational objectives.
Lead and participate in continuous quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, access, and operational performance.
Provide clinical and professional support to eye care providers, including coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and equitable patient care, including adherence to quality management standards, organizational policies, and HIPAA requirements.
Provide direct patient care in accordance with the responsibilities and standards outlined in the Optometrist job description.
Travel between HCHC locations as needed to support clinical operations, staff, and organizational initiatives.
Requirements:
•Current Massachusetts license as an eye care provider.
•Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
•Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting.
•Strong professional, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
•Commitment to patient-centered care, community health, and serving underserved populations.
•Ability to support quality improvement, operational excellence, and high-quality patient care.
