Job Summary
An Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in a healthcare facility located in Herrin, Illinois. This position involves working in a busy surgical environment, performing circulating duties during heavy orthopedic, urology, spine procedures, and robotic surgeries. The RN will be responsible for patient assessments, care planning, and supporting clinical judgment throughout surgeries, adhering to facility protocols and standards.

Job Details

• Location: Herrin, Illinois
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Position Type: Operating Room Nurse
• Required Qualifications: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license, current CPR/BLS Card, ACLS. No minimum years of experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with heavy orthopedic, urology, spine, or robotic surgeries, circulating skills in the operating room.
• Schedule: Shift time from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, 4 days per week. Call requirements include one weeknight and two weekend days per month, with the possibility of additional call needs.
• Additional Information: The RN may float to other facilities if needed; verification that RN can circulate is required. The role involves maintaining accurate medical records, participating in continuing education, and contributing to a positive patient care environment.
