Phlebotomist Per Diem

Join our team as a Per Diem Phlebotomist in Lyndhurst, NJ. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other required analyses. Enter patient data accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Range $17.75 - $26.00 per hour. All offers are based on skills, experience, and internal equity. Benefits Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled 0-19 hours per week are eligible to participate only in the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
