Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join our client’s team on a temp-to-hire basis.

Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently
Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
Assist with maintaining accurate AP records and documentation
Follow established accounting and quality-control procedures
Support the accounting team with additional AP-related responsibilities as needed
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a quality-focused environment

Qualifications
1-3+ years of dedicated accounts payable experience
Previous experience working specifically as an AP Specialist is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Positive, helpful attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team
Ability to work effectively in a close-knit accounting department

Temp-to-hire opportunity
Target start: Immediate
Hours: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, with some flexibility
Onsite position
Casual business casual dress environment
$24-$28/hour upon hire

• Prior experience working in a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist position is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable workflows, including invoice coding, payment processing, and record maintenance.
• Familiarity with ACH payments, check runs, and account coding practices.
• High school diploma required; additional college coursework in accounting or finance is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to process financial information accurately and consistently.
• Team-oriented mindset with a dependable, positive approach and the ability to work effectively in a close-knit accounting group.
