Senior Java DeveloperJob#: 3048201Job Description:Senior Java DeveloperLocation: Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid)Role OverviewOur organization is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support our Stock Plan Services, which focus on equity compensation for B2B clients. The mission is to launch a consolidated platform of microsites, combining multiple applications into a holistic user experience. The successful candidate will have end-to-end project technical lead experience and will be responsible for writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code while ensuring solutions adhere to specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the technical design, development, and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.Coach a scrum team in JAVA and Cloud Development platforms, including frontend and backend technologies like Spring-boot and PCF.Ensure deliverables meet standards for code quality, unit testing, and best practices.Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Lead development on Proof-of-Concept projects to create reusable patterns.Prepare high-level design documents, system design documents, and architecture documents for approval.Act as a security champion for the team by evaluating, guiding, and resolving vulnerabilities.Configure automated builds and deployments with tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitHub.Create Bamboo pipelines for CI/CD into PCF environments.Required QualificationsEducation: A bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree in computer science or a related subject.Experience: 5-7 years of work experience. 3-5 years’ experience developing with Java, Spring-Boot, Spring Framework, and cloud-based development, including Rest and microservices. Experience coaching junior and staff-level developers. 1-3 years’ experience with Atlassian tool suites such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, and Confluence.Technical Skills: Strong expertise in system design from mid-scale to enterprise applications. Ability to translate architecture and goals into detailed technical design documents. Experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
