Electric Heat is a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Summary: Responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery, electrical equipment, and facility assets. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance while supporting a safe, clean, and efficient manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform facility maintenance, including painting lines, floors, and columns.
• Operate floor scrubber and maintain clean shop floor areas.
• Move office equipment, materials, and machinery as needed.
• Assist with machine installation and movement.
• Repair and maintain facility assets and equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, motors, conveyors, pumps, and industrial controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and automation systems and read technical documents and schematics.
• Experience with electric scissor lifts and willingness to work at heights up to 30 feet.
• Forklift/Power Industrial Truck experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Self-directed with a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and commitment to safety and quality.

Education and Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Mechanical Knowledge Facility Maintenance Experience is a plus.
• Power Industrial Truck/Forklift is a plus.
