This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in manufacturing, fabrication, or the skilled trades. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and cutting materials to specification while supporting daily production operations. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a hands-on shop environment. Key Responsibilities Operate shop saws to cut materials according to production specifications. Measure and mark materials accurately using a tape measure. Follow work orders, production schedules, and supervisor instructions. Inspect materials to ensure accurate cuts and quality standards are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist fabrication team members with general shop duties as needed. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Required Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Experience in any of the following: General Labor Construction Warehouse Operations Manufacturing Fabrication Material Handling Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a manufacturing and fabrication environment. Ability to safely operate shop equipment after training.
