Salary: $125,000-$145,000

Location: Local candidates preferred. If not local, must reside in: OH, PA, MI, IN, KY, WV, TN, GA, FL, TX, MO, WI, NE, SD, SC, or NC (Hybrid for those near Middleburg Heights, OH - onsite 2 days/week)

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of major system components
• Collaborate with other architects to define enterprise-wide architecture
• Create and enforce software architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices
• Actively participate in code reviews to uphold code quality
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption
• Mentor developers on architecture, design, and development best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years architecting, designing, and developing high-performance RESTful APIs and web applications, ideally in event-based architectures
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with our tech stack: C#, .NET Core, React.js, SQL, Azure, etc.
• Experience mentoring developers and establishing development standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
