Recertification Specialist

Recertification Specialist Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Recertification Specialist to join its property management team at an apartment community in Boston, MA. Job Overview The Recertification Specialist is responsible for the recertification process at the property and must understand all aspects of recertifications, program compliance, and resident relations. Responsibilities Process and collect resident information including third‑party verification. Determine eligibility for continued occupancy. Process interim certifications as needed. Ensure proper calculation of income, assets, and rent levels. Maintain compliance with LIHTC and Project‑Based Section 8 programs. Utilize OneSite and Microsoft Office applications. Communicate effectively with residents and internal stakeholders. Education and Experience 3+ years’ experience in property management. Proficiency in the administration of all current government housing assistance programs such as LIHTC, Project‑Based Section 8, and EIV; COS certification a plus. Knowledge of recertifications, program compliance, and resident relations. Proficient with OneSite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong communication, organizational, writing, and computer skills. Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrated attention to detail in document/file maintenance. Proficient understanding of basic math concepts. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
