Shift Lead Shift Lead is responsible for performing the duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant, and for assisting or filling in for the Practice Manager or Chief of Staff to guide the team in maximizing productivity and profitability. Responsibilities Supervise the team on a day‑to‑day basis, ensuring quality medical care, client service, associate engagement, and productivity. Create an environment that promotes efficient, effective veterinary care and high‑quality client experiences. Provide exceptional client and pet care, leading by example, and educate on Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, and hospital services. Resolve client issues effectively and maintain compliance with practice policies, procedures, and Banfield dress/grooming guidelines. Assist in scheduling associates to meet client needs; proactively plan time off and continuing education scheduling. Ensure compliance with all practice policies, procedures, and dress and grooming guidelines. Qualifications Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience. Must be 18 years or older. Available to work weekend and evening shifts. Comfortable working in an environment with loud noise and strong smells. Pay The pay range for this role is $17.57 – $22.45 hourly.
