Wastewater Technician
Automation Personnel Services has an exciting opportunity for a Wastewater Technician to join a team in Greensboro. This position will involve travelling 50% of the time as you will be based in Geensboro, NC but will include some travel to their other location in Clearwater, FL This is a great opportunity for somebody who has a background in manufacturing or wastewater treatment.
Pay Range:
$22+/hour depending on experience
Schedule and Hours:
Monday-Friday 5:00am-4:00pm
Waste w ater Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain treatment equipment such as pumps, filters, and disinfection systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on treatment system to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Collect and test wastewater samples to monitor water quality and detect contaminants
- Conduct lab tests to analyze chemical and biological parameters
- Trouble shoot and repair equipment malfunctions
Wastewater Technician Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Understanding of chemical processes like coagulation, flocculation, and disinfection.
- Proficient in operating and calibrating treatment equipment and sensors
- Analytical skills to interpret test results and adjust treatment processes
Full-time, temporary to permanent.
