About the Position

Shift: Full time, Day (6:30 AM- 5:00 PM) Evening (12:45 PM- 11:15PM) rotation, 2-3 weekends per month. 
First 2 weeks: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM: New Employee Orientation.

Description:

• Work cooperatively and participate as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team utilize person-centered thinking, positive behavior supports, motivational interviewing and trauma informed care to prevent and respond to patient situations.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, laws, regulations, policies, procedures and protocols in order to ensure that all applicable environmental standards are met so that a safe, clean humane environment is provided for all patients and staff.
• Provide person-centered, trauma informed, culturally sensitive, professional nursing care so that the physical and emotional needs of each patient are met.
• Implement the treatment plan and document results of interventions to assist patients in accomplishing their individual goals.
• Facilitate the care and documentation of care of the patient, from admission through discharge.
• Oversee and follow the medication administration policies and processes to ensure medications are delivered safely and in accordance with all regulatory guidelines.
• Extensions may be available.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years mental health and or substance use disorder experience.
• Active Minnesota Nursing License.
