CT Technologist

Radiology CT Technologist responsible for providing high-quality patient care during CT procedures, using approved workflows and protocols. Essential Job Function Operates head or body x-ray scanners which create computer-generated cross-sectional images (CAT scans). Performs routine and special CT exams adhering to established protocols to minimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose, maintaining exam productivity within established benchmarks. Completes all exams and documentation in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), accurately identifying all charges associated with studies and addressing errors for a seamless workflow. Educates and prepares patients for examinations to enhance patient understanding and cooperation during testing and promote a positive patient experience. Demonstrates commitment to safe practices, Just Culture, and ALARA principles to eliminate errors and enhance patient outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program. Licensure / Certification / Listing Required: Will accept any of the following licenses: ARRT: RT(R)(CT) RT(N)(CT); NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT); Combination of ARRT RT(N) and NMTCB(CT) or CNMT and ARRT(CT); Combination of ARRT RT(R) and NMTCB(CT) or ARRT RT(T) and NMTCB(CT); BLS (CPR) – American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
