## Grounds Maintenance TechnicianApplylocations: Snowshoe, WVtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 3 Days Agojob requisition id: JR131512Flex Year Round# **Work, Play, Get Paid, and Enjoy the Perks!*** **Housing: Affordable on-mountain employee housing available for rent.*** Work Location: 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV 26209* Start Date: Hiring Immediately* This is a Full Time Flex Year Round Position(9-11 months)* This position is benefit eligible after the first 30 days of employment.* Pay: 15.25 per hour* Schedule: May require working early mornings, weekends, and holidays# **Employee Perks:*** Free skiing and snowboarding privileges at Alterra resorts + Free Ikon base pass!* 401k plan available to any employee over the age of 18* Discounted Friends and Family Lift Ticket Vouchers* 30% off Snowshoe food & beverage locations (excludes alcohol), 30% off soft goods like clothes, 15% off hard goods like skis at Snowshoe owned retail locations.* Pro Deals from some of the industry’s top brands such as North Face, Darn Tough, and many many more!# **Job Responsibilities:****Maintain the aesthetic, effectiveness, functionality, and safety of all resort common areas and resources by performing maintenance and or snow removal and ice control on all common area grounds, landscape features and plants, hardscape features, resort signage, walkways, steps, plazas, parking lots and roads.*** Maintain resort common areas, grounds, walkways, steps, plazas, parking areas, and roadways (landscaping, hardscaping, maintenance, snow removal, ice control, trash removal)* Perform daily inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety of common areas Keep detailed records of work performed and submit work orders for billing and compliance* Operate equipment safely, follow all safety procedures, and report hazards Monitor inventory and supplies, inform Manager/Supervisor of needs Attend training and maintain a clean, organized work environment* Provide friendly, efficient service to guests and staff Perform groundskeeping tasks: mowing, weeding, pruning, mulching, and applying chemicals Maintain equipment and assist with construction projects (preparing soil, sodding, seeding)* Ensure proper signage by painting and setting signs* Perform snow removal and ice control using hand tools, snow blowers, and chemicals* Contribute to team efforts and perform additional duties as assigned# **Driving:*** Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program# **Preferred Experience:*** 6-12 months in a related role### ***All Information above is subject to change at any time.***### ***To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.***### ***Snowshoe is an equal opportunity employer***Snowshoe, when you first hear the name, instinctually everyone's thoughts immediately settle on winter sports.
