Vice President, Talent Acquisition

Intuitive Surgical seeks a Vice President of Talent Acquisition to lead global hiring strategy and scale the TA function across regions. The role involves partnering with executives and HR to align talent decisions with business growth, modernizing recruiting processes, and building a world-class talent acquisition team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year talent acquisition strategy aligned with business growth priorities
• Own global hiring performance, TA budget accountability, and talent market planning with Finance and HR
• Strengthen regional recruiting leadership and capabilities, particularly outside the United States
• Modernize hiring processes through technology, automation, and fresh approaches that improve outcomes
• Develop and mentor TA leaders and recruiters as trusted business advisors across the organization

Requirements

• 15+ years talent acquisition leadership experience with 10+ years managing TA leaders across regions
• Demonstrated success scaling TA functions through rapid growth in APAC, EMEA, and Americas
• Background in hardware manufacturing, technology manufacturing, or similarly complex technical industries
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate data and talent insights into strategic decisions
• Proven track record building employer brands and attracting top talent in competitive markets
• Experience designing and implementing shared global systems while accommodating local market needs
