Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic; Implementing medical care plans; Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit; Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse. Performing other related duties as assigned/required.
2 years' experience required in specialty area. RN's may take an assignment in SICU, MICU, NTICU, and SD. BLS, ACLS required. TNCC, CRRT, NIH, balloon pump preferred. This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hrs, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4hr blocks of time. Will need basic dysrhythmia testing competency.
