Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of construction projects across a diverse portfolio that includes ground-up, interior fit-out, renovation, and repositioning work . This individual will oversee projects from preconstruction through close-out and will play a key role in managing client relationships, project teams, consultants, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and overall execution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background delivering projects across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, retail, commercial, and light industrial , and will be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments while maintaining a high standard of quality, safety, and client service. Key Responsibilities Lead projects from preconstruction through final turnover , ensuring successful delivery of schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations Manage a range of project types including ground-up construction, tenant interiors, renovations, occupied-space work, and facility upgrades Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cash flow projections, and cost reports Oversee subcontractor and vendor procurement, scope review, contract administration, and buyout activities Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, close-out documentation, and project reporting Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, field teams, and subcontractors throughout the life of the project Drive project planning, logistics, phasing, and execution strategies, particularly on projects with operational, occupied, or phased environments Monitor project financial performance, identify risks proactively, and implement solutions to protect cost and schedule Partner with Superintendents and field teams to support project safety, quality control, and milestone achievement Lead client meetings and maintain strong communication with all internal and external stakeholders Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other junior staff as needed Required Qualifications 7+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, with demonstrated success in a Senior Project Manager or lead PM capacity Strong experience managing ground-up, interiors, and renovation projects Project experience across a mix of healthcare, retail, commercial, and/or light industrial sectors Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, and risk management Experience managing projects from preconstruction through close-out Ability to lead owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor coordination effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing presence Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore , Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field Experience working on occupied renovations, phased construction, or technically complex projects Strong healthcare or retail project exposure is highly desirable OSHA certification or other industry training/certifications are a plus What We’re Looking For This role is ideal for a construction professional who can operate both strategically and hands-on - someone who is comfortable leading clients and project teams while also staying close to the details that drive successful execution.
