Job Title: Events Manager
Reports Into: General Manager
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 annualised equivalent, paid bi-weekly
Contract type: Full time (42.5 hours per week), Temporary 1099 contract (Maternity Cover)
Who we are: A partnership between TCE Presents and Broadwick, Brooklyn Storehouse's purpose is clear: to provide a platform for culture in all its forms to grow and evolve. Located within the historic Navy Yard, Storehouse stands as a testament to the intersection of its industrial heritage and creative innovation.
TCE produces, operates and owns a portfolio of brands, events and spaces that sit at the centre of music, nightlife and culture across the US. Broadwick is a multifaceted international company with headquarters in London who create, develop, own and operate a diverse portfolio of venues, spaces, events and experiences.
Collectively we strive to push boundaries and disrupt the cultural landscape by combining big thinking, bold ideas and commercial intelligence to produce spaces and experiences for discerning audiences in inspiring locations.
What we're looking for: Brooklyn Storehouse is seeking an experienced Events Manager (Maternity Cover) to oversee the planning and delivery of third-party events at the venue which are already secured and booked.
This role will also act as the main support to the General Manager and the Head of Operations, assisting them to plan, staff and deliver the venue's busy upcoming spring/summer calendar. Please note: whilst this role does not manage music shows or concerts at the venue, there may also be the need to provide operational support on some music shows and occasional late night weekend hours should be expected for this role.
This role will mainly focus on corporate, cultural, brand, and private events already contracted at Brooklyn Storehouse, managing them from post-contract planning through to live event delivery and follow up, whilst also managing the new inbound inquiries.
The Events Manager will act as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, coordinating all operational details including logistics, vendor management, staffing coordination, compliance requirements, contracting and invoicing.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is highly organized, with excellent hands on venue and large scale venue operations experience, who is calm under pressure, and experienced managing complex events within a fast-paced venue environment. The role also includes an administrative component, assisting with management of the venue diary, responding to sales enquiries, and supporting the General Manager and Head of Operations with operational coordination.
