Accounting Specialist for CCP

The Crisis Counseling Program Accounting Specialist will be responsible for tracking and monitoring funds, reviewing, and submitting requests for program budget modifications, and preparing fiscal reports. This role will review the contract and ensure all fiscal deliverables are met. This is a federally funded grant position that is temporary and is expected to be funded for a minimum of 6 months but may be extended dependent on funding and need. You will get to: Track, monitor, and reconcile Crisis Counseling Program (CCP) funds to ensure compliance with grant requirements and fiscal guidelines. Review and assist with the preparation and submission of budget modifications and other fiscal documentation. Prepare, maintain, and support the completion of fiscal reports and related financial records. Partner with CCP leadership to manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure funds are appropriately allocated and utilized. Present or assist in presenting fiscal information, reports, and budget updates to leadership as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping in accordance with agency, grant, and regulatory requirements. Complete all required FEMA CCP training and maintain compliance with program requirements. Support program operations and perform other duties as assigned to meet program and organizational needs. Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational, departmental, and clinic and/or office objectives. You'll definitely need: High School Diploma Preferred: Bachelor's degree or working to obtain from an accredited college or university Maintain valid Texas state Driver's License and auto insurance. Preferred: Moderate level experience with Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, etc.), financial management or bookkeeping software Preferred: Ability to use logic to reach solutions, work independently and coordinate with team members and stakeholders We're excited to provide: PPO health insurance plan with option to add dependents.
