Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including conducting physical exams and comprehensively reviewing medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies along with lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing surgical environments, positioning patients effectively, and handling surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, such as administering medications, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates with completed clinical rotations emphasizing surgical experience

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
