Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 18 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 6 months.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Temple University (Direct) Program.

Unit Details: Women’s and Family ICU will have the same patients as MICU/RICU at Temple main except CRRT and ECMO, and will also care for preeclampsia and eclampsia, hypertensive moms, hyperemesis, and postpartum hemorrhage.

Floating Requirements: ICU RNs will float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders. May also float to Women’s and Family if needed; at this facility, assignments will be ICU only, and orientation will be provided. RNs are normally assigned 24 hours in advance to any unit/hospital; however, they can be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or hospital.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
