Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our evening shift team at Fallbrook Rehabilitation and Care Center in Houston, Texas . As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality wound care to our patients, promoting healing, and improving their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for patients with complex wounds

• Perform wound care procedures, including debridement, dressing changes, and wound measurements

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound care management and prevention

• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of wound care best practices

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in wound care nursing

• Strong clinical knowledge and skills in wound care management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

• Wound Care Certification is required
