Sonographer - PRN

Sonographer – PRN Summary Responsible for producing high-quality sonograms efficiently while ensuring patient safety, comfort and confidentiality. Analyzes sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician. Responsibilities Produce diagnostic ultrasound examinations and images; review and interpret sonographic findings; maintain patient records through PACS; operate sonographic equipment and associated software; adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Qualifications Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program (required). Associate's degree preferred. Up-to-date knowledge of operations within a hospital or outpatient ultrasound department. Solid foundation of knowledge regarding all diagnostic medical ultrasound systems and exams. RDMS‑Sonographer, American Heart Association CPR Healthcare Provider Certification, RVT–Registered Vascular Tech preferred.
