Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 1900-0730, 36 hours/week, every other weekend


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Department (ED) care for a travel assignment in Norwich, NY. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN)

• Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients
• Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management
• Administer medications safely in accordance with hospital policy
• Optimize resource utilization including staffing, time management, and supplies
• Comply with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements
• Participate in shared governance and professional development initiatives
• Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students
• Perform duties as Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator when assigned

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN)

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Associate's degree from an accredited Nursing school required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Experience with EPIC preferred
