Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician in the pool industry plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of residential and commercial swimming pools. Preferred Qualifications Certification in pool and spa maintenance (e.g., Certified Pool Operator - CPO). Experience servicing equipment such as heaters and pumps. Experience with automated pool control systems and advanced water treatment technologies. Basic electrical and plumbing repair skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and perform timely repairs or coordinate with specialized contractors as needed. Test and balance pool water chemistry to maintain optimal pH, chlorine levels, and overall water quality. Maintain accurate service records, report findings, and communicate effectively with clients and management regarding maintenance status and recommendations. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards during maintenance and repair activities.
