Associate, Quantitative Developer

Role Overview The Quantitative Developer will help with the implementation of efficiency‑improving solutions for the monthly valuation of commercial mortgage loans. How You Add Value Analyzing investment data and deriving detailed inferences or attributions. Assessing complex financial models for opportunities to improve efficiency. Using the latest technology tools—including AI coding tools and agents—to enhance the efficiency or reduce the complexity of Excel workflows. Writing code that ingests and exports data to/from Excel and databases. Translating pieces of Excel models into C# code for use on web‑application platforms. Learning and using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to extract, transform and load data. Adding time‑saving and helpful features to .NET Core web‑application suites. What You Bring To The Role (Qualifications) Required: Minimum of 3 years experience. Strong background with at least one type of real‑estate equity or debt investment, such as REITs, CMBS, RMBS or whole‑loan trading. Proficiency in writing object‑oriented code in a language such as C#, with experience in Java, C++, or Python acceptable. Experience manipulating database data with SQL (Microsoft T‑SQL, Oracle SQL, or Snowflake SQL). Willingness to use Microsoft T‑SQL primarily. Experience working with complex Excel workbooks. College degree or higher in a STEM field; master’s or PhD holders welcome. Preferred: Experience with web development. Willingness to adopt AI technology. Compensation Base Compensation Range: $112,440.00 to $164,868.00 annually. Total Direct Compensation: Eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
