PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking dependable, hardworking Electrical Helpers to support commercial electrical contractors on projects in the Sparks, NV area. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with electrical experience who want to expand their skills, work alongside experienced electricians, and build a long-term career in the trades.

 

Job Title: Electrical Helper
Location: Sparks, NV 89434
Pay: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, project-based work

Job Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Run, pull, and route wire and cable as directed
• Help install conduit, electrical boxes, panels, lighting, and other electrical devices
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble conduit under supervision
• Safely and properly use hand tools and power tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Move materials, set up equipment, and assist with job site preparation
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions from journeyman electricians, foremen, and supervisors

 

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an electrical helper or in construction is preferred
• Ability to follow directions and work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools and materials is a plus
• Comfortable working on active commercial construction sites
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation to the Sparks, NV area
• Required PPE includes a hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, long pants, and work boots
