Interventional Radiologic Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment located in the operating room, where you will utilize advanced imaging technologies to assist with a variety of interventional procedures.

Schedule

• Shift: 4x12 Days
• Weekend Requirements: Only for on-call duties
• Call Schedule: Required 5-7 days per month
• Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks, with potential for one shift call-off per 2-week period

Responsibilities

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for:

• Performing procedures such as cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, and various biopsies using fluoroscopy, CT, or ultrasound.
• Assisting with venous access for ports, dialysis, and central lines.
• Conducting gastrostomy and drain placements (biliary, nephrostomy, abscess).
• Working alongside interventional radiologists and other specialists to facilitate patient care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or a related field.
• BLS Certification.
• ARRT Registered (R) Certification.
• Current Washington State License.
• Experience with the following is preferred:
• C-Arm utilization
• Ablations and kyphoplasty
• Required skills include:
• Angiograms
• Nephrograms
• Venous access procedures
• Contrast administration

Facility Overview

The facility is a Level II Trauma Center equipped with modern imaging technologies, including single plane and biplane IR rooms, a hybrid room, and capabilities for various interventional procedures.
