Summary: The Councill Federal Credit Union Service Representative provides front-line support to members by processing daily transactions, opening and maintaining accounts, and delivering exceptional service within a university-focused credit union environment. This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to member satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Member Transactions Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check-cashing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Account Services Open new accounts, assist with account updates, and support members' banking needs across savings, checking, and specialty products.
• Member Support Provide clear information, resolve member concerns, and recommend products or solutions that align with members' financial goals.
• Cash Handling Balance the cash drawer daily, maintain accurate records, and follow established cash-control procedures.
• Compliance Adhere to all credit union policies and regulatory requirements, including BSA, OFAC, and the USA PATRIOT Act.
• Administrative Support Assist with phones, filing, scanning, and general office operations to ensure smooth daily workflow.
• Loan Processing Gather, process, and file loan application documents according to established procedures.
• Collections Support Contact members regarding delinquent loans and assist with early-stage collection efforts.

Minimum Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Customer service and financial institution experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to process financial data and transactions according to established procedures.
• Familiarity with loan documentation and basic collection practices.
